Install the temperature gauge sensor inside the cab for inside temperature, or route it behind the bumper or mirror housing for outside temperature. The aftermarket digital temperature gauge displays readings from 150°F down to -99°F with ±1°F sensor accuracy across a 249-degree span, so you stay informed in desert heat and northern winter runs alike.
When the reading hits 34°F or below, this car temperature gauge flashes an “ICE” alert to warn of possible road ice. The message clears and normal monitoring resumes. The alert will not repeat at 34°F until the reading climbs to 37°F and drops again, which reduces distraction on long hauls.
The auto thermometer gauge uses a bright LED display with large digits that stay readable in direct sun. Choose red, blue, or green LED color plus chrome or black bezel to match your dash. Press the face button to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius without opening the menu.
Each inside air temperature gauge includes a protective bezel around the lens, a detachable 10-foot auto thermometer sensor cable, and a standard 2 1/16-inch mounting diameter. Choosing Your Configuration
Select bezel finish, LED color, and vehicle make before adding to cart. Kenworth and Peterbilt 2006+ smart-dash variants include plug-and-play connectors when an OEM temperature gauge is already present. For universal installs, pick “Any Other Semi / Pickup Truck or Car” and follow the wiring diagram for your sensor location.
Mount the sensor away from engine heat and direct exhaust flow for the most stable outside readings. For inside cabin monitoring, place the probe where air circulates but away from defroster outlets that can skew short-term readings.
